Expanded Revolver Capacity in a Low Profile Package

The Taurus 856 Ultra Lite (Model 2 856021UL) provides the ideal balance of solid personal defence and lightweight everyday carry simplicity. This little 2-inch snub nose revolver, finished in a quiet, non-reflective matte black, weighs just 15.7 ounces when empty, making it the perfect option for a covert backup sidearm or primary defence pistol.

The Model 856, which has a six-round cylinder capacity and is designed to give maximum firepower without raising print profile, offers shooters 20% more defensive capability than typical five-shot small revolvers.

Important Characteristics and Defensive Ergonomics

• Six Shot Capacity: The expanded cylinder maintains a narrow 1.41-inch overall frame width while holding six rounds of.38 Special ammo.
• Impact Absorbing Soft Rubber Grip: Designed with strong backstrap texturing and deep finger grooves to reduce perceived recoil and encourage good weapon gripping under pressure.
• DA / SA Spurred Hammer: The versatile Double Action / Single Action trigger mechanism enables quick defensive double action engagement or a crisp single action draw for target precision.
• Lightweight Aluminium Chassis: Constructed with a durable, weight-saving aluminium frame that can endure prolonged carry and a variety of ammunition loads.
• Transfer Bar Safety: The internal safety system ensures that the firing pin remains disengaged unless the trigger is fully pushed.
